Image description

The Thorens is a simple but well-finished machine of about 1905. It is a fine example of Swiss mechanical engineering. A Thorens will seldom have the maker’s name marked, but it can be recognised by the arched motor plates (pictured on the left here) and the lyre-shaped end support to the feedscrew.
